Battle of the Badges returns once again, bringing our community together in support of the first responders who serve us every day. 

Give blood from June 29 – July 5, 2026, and let our staff know whether you're donating on behalf of local Fire or Police departments.

More importantly, every blood donation supports patients across our region who rely on a safe and steady blood supply. When you give, you help ensure hospitals are prepared for emergencies, surgeries, cancer treatments, and more. 

As a thank-you for donating, you will receive: 

• $25 eGift Card, redeemable in the Donor Rewards Store* 
• Battle of the Badges baseball cap** 

Additionally, donors will receive the following thank-you items at participating locations on select days:

• June 29: Shell Freedom Over Texas Ticket*** (Greater Houston Area drives only. Limited supply, so act fast!)

• June 29 & July 3: Three free Chick-fil-A menu items (Available at participating Chick-fil-A blood drives). Learn more here. 

*Your reward points will be added to your Digital Donor account within 2-3 business days after your donation. Redeem your eGift Card in the Reward Store and ensure your account has a valid email address. eGift Cards are valid at popular retailers.

How to Redeem Your Gift Card:

Donors can give blood at any of the drives listed below or at any Gulf Coast Blood location. When you donate, tell our team which side you’re supporting. The winning team will earn bragging rights and be featured on our website and social media.
