Storage at 1 – 6°C, with an expiration of 42 days from the date of collection. Irradiated units have either the original expiration or 28 days from the date of irradiation.

Available by special order with a 48-hour advance notice, stored at 1 – 6°C, and expires 21 days from the date of collection.

  • Pathogen-reduced platelets with a storage requirement of 20 – 24°C and an expiration of 5 days from the date of collection.
  • Large-Volume Delayed Sampling (LVDS) platelets with a storage requirement of 20 – 24°C and an expiration of 7 days from the date of collection.

Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP) and Plasma Frozen Within 24 hours After Phlebotomy (PF24), with storage at minus 18°C or colder and a 12-month expiration from the date of collection.

Available by special order with a 48-hour advance notice, stored at 1 – 6°C, and expires 26 days from the date of collection.

Single units and pre-storage pooled products with a frozen storage requirement of minus 18°C or colder, having a 12-month expiration from the date of collection.
