We’re thrilled to share some big news with you! Our newest donor center, Gulf Coast Blood – The Medical Center, is officially opening its doors. You’ll find us just across the street from our headquarters, in a space that reflects everything we’ve learned and everything we’re growing toward.

For many years, the Bill T. Teague Donor Center served as a vital part of our mission. Named in honor of our first CEO, Bill T. Teague, who led the organization for 25 years, it became more than just a place to give blood. It was a space where community came together, where dedication met purpose, and where countless lives were saved because of donors like you.

As we move into this next chapter, we carry that legacy with pride.

But this isn’t just a move across the street. It’s a complete reimagining of the donor experience and a step forward in our commitment to research and innovation. Our new 15,000+ square foot facility was designed from the ground up with you in mind. You’ll notice a difference the moment you walk in. There’s more natural light, a modern aesthetic, and a welcoming environment that makes the donation process more comfortable and more personal.

· Up to 13 beds for whole blood and apheresis donations

· A zero gravity massage chair to help you relax after donating

· A donor massage bed to keep you comfortable during your visit

· A Bevi Smart water dispenser to keep you hydrated

· Covered parking with direct access to the Donor Room

· Our new AI assistant kiosk, Teagan, ready to answer your questions and guide your experience
