Khush Nariman, Ph.D.

Khush Nariman, Ph. D., recently retired after leading McKinsey & Company’s Downstream Operations and Strategy Practice, where he provided strategic advisory services to clients in the oil & gas and chemicals sectors. Throughout his career, he specialized in strategy, operations, digital transformation, and market dynamics, primarily in the oil and petrochemical industries.

Before joining McKinsey, Khush worked at Mobil Oil and ExxonMobil, where he served as a Research Engineer and Planning Manager for the Synthetics Division. In these roles, he distinguished himself in strategic planning, financial analysis, pilot plant development, and the creation of patented technologies. Khush earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and obtained a Business Management diploma from Wharton.

Dr. Nariman served on Gulf Coast Blood's Board of Trustees from 2007 to 2023, including as Chairman from 2021 to 2023. He rejoined the Board of trustees in 2024.
