You can make it a life-saving summer! Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center’s Shop Card promotion continues through Sept. 30, 2008, and rewards Commit for Life members who continue their commitment this summer. Commit for Life members who complete two successful donations or a single successful double red cell donation during the promotion period will be rewarded with a complimentary $20 Target® gift card. The promotion is limited to one gift card per Commit for Life member.

Summer is an important time for donations, since individuals go on vacation or become busy with family activities, and don’t always make time to donate.  However, patients in our region still need more than 900 donations every day. That is why it is so important for individuals to Commit for Life and donate at least once a quarter.

After completing the two successful donations or a single successful double red cell donation during the promotion period, a donor may log onto the Commit for Life store, at www.giveblood.org, to order their complimentary gift card. Shop Card orders must be placed by Oct. 31.
