Neighborhood Donor Centers to Observe Special Holiday Hours

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center has special holiday hours of operation planned as Thanksgiving draws near. All Neighborhood Donor Centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25. All locations will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26. Regular hours of operation will resume on Friday, Nov. 27.

Blood donations are especially important around holidays, as many donors go out of town or become busy with holiday activities, and don’t always make time to donate. However, more than 1,000 donations are needed every day to ensure an adequate blood supply for the Texas Gulf Coast region.

Nov. 25 – 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Nov. 26 – Closed
